Set in the heart of Sonoma Valley among endless vineyards and luscious green rolling hills lies St. Francis Winery. With a wine making tradition spanning nearly 50 years, the iconic winery is the perfect location for groups of up to 200 but feels intimate for even 25 guests.

Weddings April-October*:

  • Saturdays; $10,500
  • Fridays/Sundays; $9,500
  • Monday-Thursday, $7,800

 

Ceremony only:

  • $2,500 for 2 hours of event time

 

Rehearsal dinners, corporate, private events:

  • $4,500 for 4 hours of event time

Included in the site fee is $7,259 worth of amenities that are provided for your use at no additional charge. Please inquire regarding the details.

Grounds:
As a certified sustainable, family-owned winery, St. Francis is proud to feature a solar energy system, as well as estate gardens, and acres of vineyards, lavender, and a luscious lawn area for you to host your nuptials. In addition to outdoor beauty, this location also provides an indoor dancing space that offers a climate-controlled atmosphere for your evening events. 

Late Night Options:
Ceremonies start at just the right time, so the lighting is perfect at 6 pm and allows you to dance the night away until 11 pm. Should you choose, you can keep the party going with an option to extend until midnight. Ask us for details.

What are the event times and can they be extended?

The standard event time is 6pm to 11 pm and can be extended until midnight for an additional $1000. The fee to buy out the tasting room for an earlier start time is $3500/hr.

Will tasting room guests be on the property when the event starts?

No, the tasting room will be cleared of any outside guests prior to your event time.

Can guests arrive early to visit the tasting room?

Guests are discouraged from arriving earlier than 30 minutes prior to the event start time. If they wish to visit the tasting room beforehand, they will have to book a tasting directly with the winery.

Does wine have to be purchased from the winery?

All winery events will need to use wine from the venue where the event is taking place. One of the reasons wineries host events is to expose their wine to an increased audience. Additionally, by using this wine, we can guarantee that you will never run out during your event because we have the privilege of pulling more wine if needed. By having this option, it will help you stay on budget and you won’t overbuy more than you need! All the wineries have multiple varietals to choose from to best suit your liking.

Can dancing be outside?

No, unfortunately, due to the Sonoma county sound ordinance music and dancing must remain indoors at this property.

Is there a backup rain plan?

St. Francis does have covered and indoor options for ceremony and dining in the case of rain for up to 100 people.
